Who is Brian?

DSC00378Brian is a naturalist living in Portland, OR.  He blogs his observations, asks questions and makes interpretations about what he perceives.  He offers courses and workshops to the community to help adults, youth and families to get to know their place better.  He hopes to inspire you to get out as able and find your own “natural places”.

He grew-up in the Southwest, spent summers in the Midwest as a youth and has lived and worked as a biologist and naturalist in New Mexico, Hawaii, California, Arizona, Maine, New Hampshire, Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, South Dakota, and Washington.
